RidgeWorth Investments has an opening for a Content Specialist/Senior Writer in our Atlanta, GA office. This person will be responsible for written marketing content across the firm's distribution channels. Standard projects could include content development for marketing collateral, presentations, direct marketing, white papers, sales support materials, advertising and interactive communications (email/website).
Responsibilities:
Write, review and/or edit material that demonstrates organizational capabilities or addresses topics of interest to internal or external clients.
Work closely with the Marketing and Sales Teams to fully understand the proposed strategy for each deliverable, and develop compelling copy that supports the strategy.
Generate ideas for proposed strategy implementation and research content by utilizing internal and external sources.
Support other members of the Marketing Team by providing copy and/or data needed to develop or update various marketing resources.
Research organizational and industry trends and initiate ideas for new deliverables that would complement the current marketing offerings of the organization.
Manage new projects from beginning to end, which includes developing content and working with internal and external partners to get the project in its final form.
Assist in the development of RFP answers to standard questions about the organization and its product offerings.
Develop and foster relationships with internal and external partners.
Other projects as assigned.
Responsible for providing a variety of marketing support to the mutual fund, boutique, and firm-wide branding efforts. Support may include business intelligence, such as conducting competitive product and pricing research, analyzing and monitoring market trends, and product line positioning; account management/creative services, such as designing and producing marketing materials; and investor marketing, such as developing and executing marketing plans, initiatives, promotions and communications targeted at investors and the consultant community; and developing and providing ongoing support to various marketing programs such as shareholder newsletters, content on the firm"s website, etc. Section Manager. Has overall responsibility for the marketing activities related to specific investment products. Manages the day-to-day workflow of marketing staff.
Minimum Job Requirements:
7 years mutual fund/asset management writing experience.
Bachelor's degree with a focus on Marketing, Business, Communication, or equivalent.
Ability to write about very complex topics in a simple and understandable way.
Must be able to take initiative and manage multiple projects at one time.
In-depth understanding of the financial markets and the asset management industry.
Excellent communication, relationship management, project management and organizational skills.
Preferred experience:
MBA or other advanced degree helpful. Familiarity with Zephyr, Morningstar Direct, and database applications desired.
